Captain America shields... not so much

We've seen the rioters associated with antifa and BLM with shields made form 55 gallon drum half's as shields, they kinda copy the roman scutum that is larger, square and concave to offer good protection. But some of the 'right-wing' marchers had smaller, oval, captain America style shields with reflective tape. Those are obviously not homemade.

Click.. click.. click

Oh look, sources say these shields cost $250 each and have a 2 to 3 month lead time to be manufactured.

Primarily ordered by...

you guessed it.. FBI.

From Point Blank Body Armor (PBBA) website we found out that they are recognized as one of the first companies in the United States to design and manufacture body armor. Since 1973, Point Blank has grown into an internationally diversified company with the most visible brand recognition, considered today to be the premier source of body armor systems in the world.

PBBA has long-standing relationships with the most prestigious and demanding law enforcement agencies, federal agencies and the United States Department of Defense, due to the quality and functionality of its products and its ability to meet and exceed its customers’ expectations. Outstanding customer service is key to Point Blank’s success and central to its business strategy. The Company’s broad product portfolio, high-quality solutions, on-time delivery record, experienced sales personnel and ability to accommodate surges in volume demand are key elements of its consistent service record. Point Blank’s average delivery time continually surpasses the industry average and the Company’s track record of quality and product performance is unsurpassed.

This is ongoing, the warrior shield pricing is off the web site now.

Lets do some math... I counted 15 shields on one side of the marchers... there were about the same number on the other side.

Lets say 30 shields (not counting the other style of shield at the end of the marchers).

30 times $250 is $7,500. Someone spent alllll their PPP loan money on some spiffy shields or that's your tax dollars prancing around in Washington DC trying to stir up trouble.

Media is reporting that they didn't stir up trouble... but did they?

Antifa was late to respond, but they did. It exposed a bunch of twitter accounts and got unprepared faces on camera.

Fun, fun.
